So I have the smallest oil leak from the bell housing and the back of the motor on the right side but it’s so small it take multiple days to see the oil but I also have a small oil leak coming from my drain plug and I’m wondering if the wind could hit it just right and hit that flat spot right there where the serial number and stuff is.

Before you get too wrapped up in a rear main diagnosis, I would verify the oil cooler/filter housing assembly under the intake has not started leaking and is just draining out the back of the engine.

Usually when there is a true rear main leak, it is coming out of those two rubber dust plugs at the bottom where the engine and transmission meet and they are usually swollen from the oil saturation. I do not see that here. I would also inspect valve covers.

Also when it is a true rear main those plugs can be pulled out and oil will be present up inside . If it is running down the back as @Hootbro said heck valve covers , check oil cooler 😎

Besides that how many miles ya got ? Usually rear main leaks come mainly from contaminated seals ( mud dust etc..) or worn mains when the mains get wore then seal will go bad. It usually occurs in Super Duper high mileage engines .. ( from my personal experience . ) so look to valve covers , camshaft sensor O-ring and PCV O-ring as possible sources of oil.

I have 122,450 miles I stay out of the mud but I do play on the rocks and dusty environments so I looked in the valley and there’s a tad bit of oil but I also spilled some like a rookie lol and I looked at my girl friends jeep and in the same spot there’s oil but we just had her oil cooler replaced I’m gonna keep looking and fix my oil pan first I’m starting to thing it’s oil hitting wind and spraying up there
