Oil life monitor

Apparently the JT oil life monitor takes into account the type of driving you do in determining when to get an oil change. I am at 4500 miles of mostly highway driving. My monitor says 52% life. Was very surprised at that. Still think I will do an oil/filter change at 5000. So, what have others seen for the oil monitor life vs. mileage?

I am somewhere around 60% with about 3500 miles. I drive average less than 20 miles a day (I live close to work) at 40-45 mph. I asked the dealership about this and they said they wouldn't be surprised to make it over 8k miles before the oil change is needed and that the old rules don't apply (x months or x miles) for oil changes to maintain warranty status.
