Old CJ8

I am concidering to sell my old 1981 CJ8 and purchasing a newer Gladiator. The old Jeep was a loaded model with inline 6, auto trans, power steering, power brakes, A/C and a full length acme fiberglass top. What is it worth when purchassing a newer Jeep? The 1981 was rugged and served me well for many years, but I am in my 80s now and want something more comfortable.

I had a 1982 Scrambler/ CJ8, Gladiator is much more comfortable, if your Scrambler is in good shape they seem to always get pretty much. Do some searches and see what is out there….Jack

I too had a Scrambler and agree there is NO comparison with a Gladiator.

In good condition, you could easily get half the cost of a pretty well loaded Gladiator.

If I had a CJ8 to sell, I’d have pictures ready to go. More likely, I’d never sell a CJ8, but would have pictures to show off.
