Yup their's was like that but red. Never looked that nice though. Pretty sweet looking Wagoner you have there.
Saw this one in my garage this afternoon. My wife’s DD
Thats an absolute beauty, don't see too many survivors like this in New EnglandMy first Jeep love. Got this probably 7-8 years ago. Was in totally different shape. After a bunch of work it was my daily for about two years.
Eventually my father and I decided on a rebuild as it was overheating(fan too small) and was mowing through starters. Of course that rebuild grew and grew. Needs a fluid flush and some buttoning up and it will be ready to roar again.
It isn’t too wild. 4” spring lift, 35s, j20 steering box.
Best part is the engine; 327 from a 68 camero. Sucker used to spin those 35s before we added the cam and did the rebuild.
Hoping to finish that up this summer but I have a lot of two wheel projects also.
Dream is to get a cj3b one day.
To each there own, but there's part of me that's sad when good civilian Jeeps (a cj3a in this case) are painted to look like an MB. Nothing wrong with either, but I just prefer admiring each for their own.A friend sent this picture to me today. She said it was parked next to her at a restaurant.
