Nope it's mine. I was struggling mightily over what and where and how to add a compressor, a bit boggled by all the wires and switches and where to mount, and then this brainstorm hit and I says to my self, "Self, you can about handle a couple bolts and 2 wires!"

Happy to get you some other pics if you need them. Can try a video, I'm sure I'm not much of a cell phone cinematographer.
I’m sure others would benefit from the info as well, but if you have trouble loading, shoot a text to 409-351-6149.. thanks
I'm giving it a go... have a gmail and therefore youtube account since I have an android phone, never messed with it. Uploading now. We'll see how it goes!

No problem. You taught me to upload videos by asking!
I was doing a bit of research on the single and twin air compressors, and they are only 5 amps draw different - Single @ 23amps and Twin @ 28amps. You mentioned that you went with the single because of the lesser amp draw to be capable for use with the AUX switches or you would have gone with the twin. The aux switches 1 & 2 are capable of 40amps, 3 & 4 are capable of of 15 amps. i was just curious if you had different unit amp info or were informed that the AUX may not handle the 28amps on all the time, which i totally understand. From what i gather both are in the green for AUX 1 or 2 use. Youve proven that the single is more than effective, and obviously smaller under seat convenience, so i will probably go that route. Just curious about the twin info for use in any location and powered by AUX.

Train Horn or do you off road often where you need to air up/down -- > then go with onboard air, preferably VIAR as mentioned above. I have 4 gals of onboard air via 2x 2gal tanks.. makes for quick airing up and tons of air for using that 4 horn train horn!

(LAUGHING) i havent upgraded to train horn yet (still mostly sane in traffic), but i do air up and down for terrain and sometimes need use for recreational use as well.

just an FYI on the twin. If you run the power to the battery, there’s a separate wire you use for switching the unit on /off with the aux. I use aux 3 for mine. Yes... if you will have to find a way through the firewall for the power run but it’s not very hard to do it.

This is a quick PDF sketch, but does that look about right?

I'm thinking about mounting my twin portable for on board air now , I kept the portable because my Jeep couldn't tow my camper but now JT is my vehicle for towing the camper. if I did I might run air hose under the Jeep with an outlet by each wheel or one front & one back.

i think you have the right idea... convenient enough... some do a single outlet of the pump, and split it 4 ways to each wheel... you could do a 2 way splitter and run affixed to the frame, one chuck to the front and one to the back, and even do a 2 way splitter after the chuck connection to have 2 wheel filler at front and back to minimize the amount of extra hose required to get to each wheel from the one point to 4way connection..

Think it was this one that scared me off...

https://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/manuals/arbtechspecs_2.pdf

Found that showing no load and under load amp draws.

13 and 22.9 for the single, 28 and 50 for the twin (which kinda makes sense being just 2 singles plumbed together).

Maybe that 50 amp draw is an extreme circumstance, but with my luck, it would blow that fuse every time I put it under pressure. I erred on the side of caution knowing the single can't get to 40.

I'd be bummed to hear I was wrong, 2 is always better than one. I think.

Edit: Confirmed this as well in the manual on ARB site...

That would be cool. Keep us posted if you give 'er hell. If it's straightforward enough, I can be enticed to dive in!

More convenient yet to switch on and plug in by the wheels! :like:

Bonus that the lines themselves would be a bit of an air tank. Not much, but some buffer.

Worth mentioning though if you start simple... the supplied orange ARB hose reaches all 4 tires no problem.

I went with this for a gauge/inflator...

https://www.quadratec.com/products/...MI-rrbh5PK5QIVUfDACh3JiwBHEAQYASABEgKrVPD_BwE

It's solid built, has a deflator button on the side which bleeds pressure off real gentle like. Gauge was consistent and matched my TPMS readings within a pound (gauge was lower than truck computer). Next time I fiddle with it I'll just know to match that.

Who knew pressurizing air could be fun?
