Oracle LED reverse lights.... work, dont work, blah blah

If these things would work every time they would be amazing....

The issue is, i installed them with the provided oracle plug and play harness to piggyback off the tail light. Everything is tight, everything is connected.

I have a halogen truck and do not have tazer or anything like that to switch to led. Not even sure if that would fix this. The tail light reverse lights always work, so these technically should due to the piggyback harness.

These lights work intermittently. Sometimes on, sometimes not, sometimes on/off on/off blinking.

Does anyone else have this issue? Im really trying to figure this out before returning or selling.

Like i said, if they work as they should, they are SUPER bright and amazing. Currently they are just annoying.

I've had them for about 6-8 months with the Oracle harness and they have worked fine so far. Halogen truck as well. I modified my harness for additional functionally and personally wasn't too impressed with the splices inside of the harness (inside the bundle where they tee into the tail lights) when I was cutting it apart and tying in other wires. Maybe there could be an intermittent connection at those splices.

Another words - if only one light is failing I'd think its a light problem. If both lights are failing, I'd lean towards the pigtail or truck.

Which lights? I have run the replacement 15 LED w/Reflectors for over 2.5 years.. YES , I have a Jscan Yes I was a Halogen JT. Before re-program these and the Oracle tail lights would Flicker.. I used Jscan to re-program all lights for LED and have NO Problems. jscan.net has all the details and info.. license and OBD port donegal cost about $60 and you can work without buying the extension cables if you choose too.

I have them, for over a year now. I spliced mine into the the trailer plug harness. Works great this way. If I remember right that harness that Oracle sells is intended for LED equiped trucks. There is more discussions on here about it.

Contact Oracle and see if you can get them to swap harnesses for the one that connects to the Tow Wiring instead of the taillight.

The short of it is, once I got them to send a second PnP adapter for the other taillight, they worked great! ( and have for 4 years now)

It took a few contacts, but they were very helpful.
