So I've been eyeing those same lights - There are probably easily 5 different sellers on Amazon that sell the same light as the CJ Pony ones above. Does anybody know if they are 100% all the same? They look exactly the same, but just curious if there's any difference.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are the same. I noticed CJ doesn't show a picutre of the packing on their site.

Does anyone here have the packing from CJ? Would could google the dope off of it.

Incorrect, these are a different product and work plug and play. Oracle made a mistake in the design of the unit. If you buy into Oracle's excuses then that would make sense. Friend bought these, he had LED and no issues

Don't go into analysis paralysis. Just get whatever you have most confidence in.

Looking for cost savings. If CJ sells the same brand for X more, not trying to do that.
Your decision is gambling with Amazon or not gambling for $50 more. I say skip one dinner this month and take one thing off your mind.

Meh, no freight or duty for me from Amazon (I am in Canada) and if there is an issue, Amazon is super easy to deal with. Plus it won't cost me a dollar to send them back.

Also, a penny saved is a penny earned. **IF it is the same product**

Doesn't hurt to check. I do get what you are saying though.

I have a few Oracle products and all are working great. The back up lights plug and play harness was a big mistake for Oracle. Since Covid I have had to be patient with a few manufacturers who rely on cheap labor in other Counties. If you're getting rid of the Jeep just leave it alone and trade it in as is.
Why was the plug and play harness a mistake? I'm thinking of getting the backup lights and was thinking that for $30ish it was a reasonable time saver.

Did it not work?

Yes. If the OEM lights combined are 36 watts, the ECU will expect a 3 amp draw.
If it sees a 1 amp draw from the more efficient LEDs it will indicate a burnt out bulb. It needs to be changed to LED using some kind of tool like a Tazer or other.

im in the same boat. saving as much on shipping and duty is always helpful.

CJ is $438 USD + customs likely

amazon looks to be $410 CAD

yeah. i have LEDs already. the amp draw from halogen to led would be expected. technically the difference between LEDs i would expect to be quite small.

Why are you letting your butthole talk? Oracle lights have a design flaw, it's not the truck's fault. Believing their story that some trucks are programmed to a different wattage is insane. Do you know how many issues would Jeep have internally with programming? Every truck would need to be programmed individually according to the draw from tails. There's no way they would let the supplier deliver a part with erratic draw.

What Don said isn't true. These work on both halogen and LED gladiators. Tested
