ORDERING DIESEL GLADIATOR RUBICON ISSUES...

Unfortunately hit a major stumbling block on my order...it's been 5 -6 weeks ,still in "D" status meaning staying nowhere land nothing happening ,order rec'd but not processing..Jeeps answer is there NATIONWIDE RECALL on the fuel pump's for JEEPS diesel's ....they have no answers or approx. time frame for a remedy...was really looking forward to this order.. been buying ,driving Jeeps for over 45 year's , never ordered a new one from the factory , NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL YET...

I believe the recall will have a stop-sale effect on the jeeps being built until they have a fix for current customers under the recall. I would do as @dmwphoto said, try to find one on the lot.

For reference, when the current owners experienced the blown fuel pump, they waited anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months for the pumps to arrive. Granted, that was late last year and early this year, hopefully they increased their supply but I wouldn't hold my breath

I understand the thrill of ordering your new Jeep it's pretty cool. But if you want one anytime soon I'd fine one close to what you want and buy it for 2 reasons 1) the stop sale is now affected Jeep dealers on selling used Jeep Diesels so there going to be harder to come by in the near future 2) There awesome!! You won't want to miss getting one I have 2 Jt diesels and 1 Jlur diesel and couldn't be happier there's 27 diesels in our Jeep group and we haven't had 1 issue so far with fuel pump

THANKS....LOOKED INTO THAT BUT NONE AROUND BECAUSE ALL THE DIESELS ARE AFFECTED BY IT..MAY JUST CANCEL ORDER UNTIL THEY PUT THERE CRAP IN ONE SOCK..AND ORDER THEN...

In the Wrangler and Ram 1500 (replaced by the 4Xe & Electric Ram). The Gladiator is the last hold out until the 4Xe comes along. But now that they extended the recall to newer models and there is a stop sale this may just be the end of it as we know it. They most likely won't restart production if they have the 4Xe Gladiator ready to roll next year.

OK Question for those in the know....What exactly is included in the "26R" package when ordering a RUBICON does it include certain thing's not normally on build sheet.. tow package .? anything else..? Anybody order one that way...OR does it just designate it's a DIESEL any nothing more...
