Well, is this a good deal or should I deal/walk on it? Ignore the VIN, we were talking 2 vehicles, the price for the other is too far away but lower. Taxes are high due to living in WA, and no I can't buy elsewhere and save, they collect the difference when you title it.

You have a trade in to offset any of that sales tax? $6K is throwing it to you dry with no lube.

As to price, OTD really has no meaning to anybody else. So it usually comes down to what you got it for as net price. In your case, it seems you got about a average to decent deal as anybody else in the market right now.

Edit: What is that $950 "License Fee" all about? Is that what it actual cost and paid to your state to get it plated or is there padding the dealer is making money on?

Can't speak to any of the fees. FL wrote the book on that carp. But pre fees. Looks like a heck of a deal

Yea no trade in at all. We are keeping my wrangler for my daughter to drive.

So should I push for a long title more and get details on the fees to maybe drop them.?

8k off sounds weak for end of year/end of model year and current situation.

The tricky part is this is a local dealer looking to bring one from about 200 miles away. He claims he does not get all the mfg money doing the transfer. Not sure if that is true. Nothing local is anywhere near that price.

If you could save more than $800 the 200 mile trip each way is probably worth it.

Might cost that much to head down with no trade in. Can't drive, and wife can't drive there as she has MS. A plane ticket this short notice and holiday might be expensive. Guess I can do some checks on costs.

Fees and taxes are a bear here in CA too, but the msrp on my '23 mojave was $65k and I paid $52k after rebate/discounts and before the taxes and fees. Jeep may have reduced the discounts since October though.

When did you buy? October/november? If so msrp was 15 off now it is 10

We have no state income tax. It sucks, and would love to live elsewhere but job and kids influence that.

Also assuming Zach got 15% MSRP that was 20% off, this is about 15% off.So not sure we have much wiggle unless I am missing something.
