FWIW, my Mojave was about the same and 10% factory discount. Came out to $12K off of sticker. I did purchase in November. If you've checked all the dealers near you and that is the best price on what you want, get it. Oh.... and congrats in advance.

Just a few thoughts to share back and sorry if I missed someone already covering one of this items.
- It looks like they included a dealer add-on, because according to this link, the actual invoice is $60,025. https://www.jeep.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=1C6JJTEG9PL584049 ...Maybe I mistyped the invoice, but I looked twice. So, if I didn't I would want to know what they're doing. Sure, it's only $830, but certainly reasonable to have you confirm upfront as it seem a bit sketchy to just slip that onto you.
- I do like that they state Out The Door price as that is a legitimate term that I try to write on all my dealer contracts whenever I put in an order to lock down the out the door price and prevent any additional fees! So, I give them props for that.
- without looking at the actual invoice price, I'm estimating that they have a few percentage points of profit that they could still give up if their back was against the wall, but each area and dealership can be unique when it comes to that. However, noticing that it's a Punk'n Mojave, well you may be somewhat hard pressed to find another.
- As for the question about dealers trading each other for vehicle and not getting all the money (or something like that), I do understand that to be true. Let me just preface what I say as I've never actually worked in the industry, but I could say that I've rubbed shoulders and learned a good bit from those who have. So, what can happen is that most new cars dealerships have to pay interest to the manufacturer when a vehicle hits the lot or soon after. The manufactures takes that out of their floor plan money, but if the dealer sells the vehicle right away, they really don't have much if any accrued interest and they get all or most of the floor plan money rebated from the manufacturer back to them. This is known as the holdback money. So, I've heard that the holdback rebate is typically kept by the originating dealership whenever there is a trade. As well, it's fair to say that the originating dealership holds the cards and has the leverage if they want to give something up for a trade.
- Just my $.02's.

Thanks, the MONRONEY is not the VIN on the OTD, so they will need to rewrite it. They used the one from Houston I was considering trying to find a way to get over here. He found one in Portland area, which is about a 2 - 3 hour drive from here. I need to talk about the fees, and I am curious if I can get a better deal from the actual dealership, would cost me around $500 to fly down and drive it back.

I love the orange--There's an orange diesel Rubicon that just came on the market in Indiana. Wish I would have waited a little bit before buying the red one! If it's the color and spec you want, go for it. When I was looking a couple of weeks ago, people were commenting on how many Gladiators were sitting on dealer lots. They were absolutely correct, but once you factor out colors you have no interest in(anything white, black or grey) and then enter the trim level and options you want, that number becomes much, much smaller..........

When did you buy? October/november? If so msrp was 15 off now it is 10
Late October. There's still wiggle room. The dealers know the 23s will be harder to move as 24s hit the lots.

I bought mine September 29th and got 20% off MSRP.

Why are they only offering 10% now? The dealer I bought from still have five JT's on their lot and as of today, still discounted 20%.

I don't think you are getting a good deal. 10% is 6K.

Total discount off msrp, mfg and dealer are at 14.5%. Guess I need to see how close to 20 I can get.

OK flight is about 150 or so. Not even a tank of gas back plus an Uber or such. So not too bad. I sent them a message to start the dialog going.
You definitely want to double check that you will actually fully "qualify" for all $6,085.50 of those rebates & incentives they list in the ad before making the trip.

Many dealerships show the maximum "possible" rebates etc. in their ads & sale listings to get you physically in the door. Then pull the rug out from under you & tell you that you don't check all the boxes to qualify, so they can't give them to you.

Just a thought that might save a wasted trip.

Thanks will keep that in mind, but the 10% shows for me on the site so pretty sure on that. Just never hurts to verify.

Though if I fly down the deal will be pretty much done and paid before I hit the airport.

Well, is this a good deal or should I deal/walk on it? Ignore the VIN, we were talking 2 vehicles, the price for the other is too far away but lower. Taxes are high due to living in WA, and no I can't buy elsewhere and save, they collect the difference when you title it.

Walk. Dealers in Tn are marking $20000 off msrp.

You have a trade in to offset any of that sales tax? $6K is throwing it to you dry with no lube.

As to price, OTD really has no meaning to anybody else. So it usually comes down to what you got it for as net price. In your case, it seems you got about a average to decent deal as anybody else in the market right now.

Edit: What is that $950 "License Fee" all about? Is that what it actual cost and paid to your state to get it plated or is there padding the dealer is making money on?
That state raw dogs everyone every chance they get. Sucks too cause I miss the sound.

Holy cow! That's like 11% sales tax!!!??? Dude... how can you even stand to live there? And I thought our 7% was outrageous here in Florida. ?
Washington sucks these days. Its why I moved.

Not gonna help with WA - they still make you pay upon titling. Inslee made a promise to the 'people' to be more restrictive than California. Crazy they still vote for him.

What dealer is this from?
