Other obsession, besides Jeeps. 4 wheelers, shooting firearms, outdoor activities. Well more activities outside. Been trying to get my scuba gear ready and hopefully going to get some scuba diving going.
Some if not most of my gear is older than some on here.

My first dive computer, I don't know if I can get batteries for it even anymore.
Is there an expiration date on the tank?

Tanks (cylinders) are required to be hydro tested every 5 years and visually annually. I'll probably have to take mine to GA. next time due hydro testing. The facility that is local said nope on any AL cylinders over 20 years old, it's more of a way to sell more vs. defective ones. There is thousands of them that are still in great condition from 90s and before. I can understand AL ones from 70-80's being condemned. On steel ones many of them from even 1950 are still in good shape and pass hydro testing and visual. A real surprise is there is a substantial number of steel cylinders in welding/ commercial use still in service from 1940's&50's. Now, the problem with steel is rust from moisture inside, then you have to get them tumbled to remove it. That will destroy one fast, and why you should always keep 350-500 psi (40 bar) in them min. Of a side note on NITROX for scuba diving it can cause advanced corrosion too... that's what happened with my steel ones in the past.

That is what 3 of my yoke adapters are like after getting NITROX fills. They are for a DIN valves, at some dive shops (in the past) didn't have DIN fill whips, or to use a yoke 1st stage with DIN valves tanks.
Sorry tangent of stupid trivia. I occasionally get interested in something and read up on it down rabbit holes of information. On that some "get bent" out of shape calling them tanks not cylinders. Pun intended. 🤭 👌

Well my son 3D printed a smaller key fob for me. Everything works as it should.
I have the actual key stashed in case I ever need it.

Nice! I loathe key fobs, as small as possible is the best way for them :D

I dont have any good photos handy, but latest consistent obsessions...

RC stuff. Actually this has been on and off for 25 years almost. We have five 1/10th scale rigs and five mini crawlers on hand. I have a few projects Id like to build finally...

Sim racing. My setup is very budget compared to a lot of folks, but I enjoy it. I play on NASCAR 25, ATS/ETS2, iRacing, Asseto...

Usually on this thing a few times a week to run a race or two.

After that, auto electrical wiring projects have been a big one. Thats another one I've done on and off for years (aside from doing it for work for a long time).

Pretty nice simulator rig……and I had the same Traxxas truck. My son still does. That thing absolutely rips.

Thanks. I want to upgrade the wheel and pedals, but space doesn't really allow. I actually need to streamline it further when I move.

We have the 4x4 Slash, three Stampedes (two 2WD, one 4WD) and a Rustler. Five Axial SCX24's. I'll be using the tractor this year hopefully to put together a small 'track' to play on with them.

You must live further north than me . Heck last January it snowed 15" I shovel two paths behind wife's car and I parked on top of it in the yard every day for a month. It eventually warmed up end of February.
Just saw this, yeah we sometimes get a foot of snow at a time. I am in a small zone south of Worcester MA and it has this weird snow belt vibe that sometimes happens.
