Haha, sorry. It's a marine hatch vent that people have been using to create positive pressure in truck caps, which is a great way to keep dust out. Since the PPV is up high in the front and I put a filter in it, it allows air in but pressurizes and keeps dust from getting sucked in other places like the tailgate. Jay at OVRLND has installed some. The vent is a cabin hatch vent that's designed to ventilate without letting rain in, we just add an air filter and it works well. You can also close and open it at anytime if need be, like I probably will once the snow flies. Not sure what it actually does? ?
So I took the bed light out. Bought a second one off of eBay. Destroyed it by drilling it out and running the intake hose through it then silicone to seal it. On the underside I took some thin aluminum and blocked off the area where the intake is to protect it from water and dirt/mud. The hole where exhaust goes. Drilled that out using a big ass step drill. I need to get some exhaust tape to help mitigate the heat in that area. The exhaust will then be stubbed out on the bumper which was test fit a few weeks ago.@Free2roam How did your diesel heater install workout?
Oh man, I would love to see the bike rack + swing out when it's done. I've been thinking the same thing, at least if I could carry fuel (gas+propane) on the swing out with my bikes.Having a local guy mod the bumper for a swing out and side protection. Plus bike rack, and the center will have MOLLE panel so I can mount Jerry cans and propane/ whatever else I decide. I have a TMR Customs super mega bearing swing out. Little piece at a time.

Not really for sure. Came with the rig and has no markings that I have found so far. It has barely been used if at all and opens nice and tall with good support. What brand is that?
Vegas I'm guessing. Congratulations enjoy the build!I picked mine up yesterday. Drove home the same day, 630 odd miles. I was impressed that my mileage didn't get slaughtered. I figure I lost about a 1/2 mpg. Not bad at all.
The drivability really impressed me. It felt really planted the whole way. I was driving into a pretty significant headwind and I barely noticed it. The crosswind was similar. Normally the Gladiator is kinda bouncy, but not any longer.
It really smoothed out the ride.
The one problem I encountered is the camper seriously interferes with the Sirius antenna, so I will have to get a new antenna and tie it in to my system.
Yes, Carson CityAre you in Northern Nevada too?
