Not sure what it actually does? ?
Haha, sorry. It's a marine hatch vent that people have been using to create positive pressure in truck caps, which is a great way to keep dust out. Since the PPV is up high in the front and I put a filter in it, it allows air in but pressurizes and keeps dust from getting sucked in other places like the tailgate. Jay at OVRLND has installed some. The vent is a cabin hatch vent that's designed to ventilate without letting rain in, we just add an air filter and it works well. You can also close and open it at anytime if need be, like I probably will once the snow flies.

Progress for me. Pulled the headliner. Started insulating, installed and ran wire for the two National Luna lights(dual mode) need more insulation. Had a bench pad made at work.

Nice! I think I will end up installing something like your PPV. Not for dust exactly, mainly to ventilate the baking hot air in my black Alu-Cab.

@Free2roam How did your diesel heater install workout?
So I took the bed light out. Bought a second one off of eBay. Destroyed it by drilling it out and running the intake hose through it then silicone to seal it. On the underside I took some thin aluminum and blocked off the area where the intake is to protect it from water and dirt/mud. The hole where exhaust goes. Drilled that out using a big ass step drill. I need to get some exhaust tape to help mitigate the heat in that area. The exhaust will then be stubbed out on the bumper which was test fit a few weeks ago.
Having a local guy mod the bumper for a swing out and side protection. Plus bike rack, and the center will have MOLLE panel so I can mount Jerry cans and propane/ whatever else I decide. I have a TMR Customs super mega bearing swing out. Little piece at a time.

Oh man, I would love to see the bike rack + swing out when it's done. I've been thinking the same thing, at least if I could carry fuel (gas+propane) on the swing out with my bikes.

I tried a Kuat swing arm from the hitch but my current rack extends out far enough that both together created a lot of twisting off road. The Kuat is stout, but better with a rack that's closer to the back of the vehicle.

Here is my addition. Just picked it up a few days ago and have plans to head out camping this weekend with some friends.

Only a poser pic so far, but if I remember I will take some more this weekend and post here.

Not really for sure. Came with the rig and has no markings that I have found so far. It has barely been used if at all and opens nice and tall with good support.

Never thought I would ever add a carpet to a truck, but I added a Bedrug this week:
Jeep Gladiator OVRLND Camper roll call bed-ru

Since you can pressure wash them it finally convinced me. Wish I had done this last fall, but found a spring deal. Really changes the feel of the back, very comfy, I nearly took a nap in the bed after finishing the install. Easy install, only pain was with my Trail Rails, after removing the top velcro strip from the Bedrug the rails fit perfect and hold the top of the rug. I also opted to remount my AC plug cover on top of the rug, which was a little challenging, but cleaner.

Still need to clean up my wiring, I relocated the side it was coming down to match where I place the portable battery. We're wanting to do more work while off-grid, so am rethinking our electrical setup to power 2 laptops, fridge, starlink, etc.

I picked mine up yesterday. Drove home the same day, 630 odd miles. I was impressed that my mileage didn't get slaughtered. I figure I lost about a 1/2 mpg. Not bad at all.

The drivability really impressed me. It felt really planted the whole way. I was driving into a pretty significant headwind and I barely noticed it. The crosswind was similar. Normally the Gladiator is kinda bouncy, but not any longer.

It really smoothed out the ride.

The one problem I encountered is the camper seriously interferes with the Sirius antenna, so I will have to get a new antenna and tie it in to my system.
