Anyone find a good sized screen for the back opening, or side hatches? What are you guys doing to keep bugs out, but want air in?
To be honest I tend to go where bugs aren't. But if it were a problem for me I would simply build a window screen and use velcro to attach it to the window frame.

I found one on Amazon that I use for the back, you can order to size and it has the magnetic opening, I've been very happy with the results.

Lights! Long time project completed. Ever since having to get the home link buttons when I ordered my truck, even though I don’t have a garage door for them, I was finally able to use them for desert chase lights and also utilize the added “brake light” on the camper as another rear light when I want the extra visibility in bad weather. I can turn them on/off independently with the multichannel relay. I can also use them as camp lights since it runs off the Li battery in the camper. I also have a set of red lenses if I want to swap out the amber lenses on the chase lights.

How did you use the home link buttons for chase lights?

Nice job. I run mine through my S-Pod, and I have it programmed so that they turn on automatically when I shift into reverse.

I use something like this.

I can set each of the 3 Homelink buttons to a separate channel. I can set a third channel for undercarriage lights, which I might do next. I can turn them on from visor when driving, and later turn them off or on with fob while in the camper. I just hated having those visor buttons with nothing for them to go to.

What kind of suspension are you all running with the camper? I feel a lot of lift discussions don't always consider the static load of camper and such.

I'm thinking of getting like a 2-3" lift. My budget is somewhat limited, so I was looking at the Mopar 2" lift, or something around that price point. But than wonder if the springs and shocks are good enough for the weight.

Thoughts?

For something like we’re talking about you definitely should consider heavier spring than what comes on the Mopar lift.
I went with the AEV lift and they give you an option of 2 different heavier springs. I believe that you can just order the springs but I would not recommend that.

I was stock for quite a while until I started the build out. Gasser or diesel? Either way I had decided on the Clayton Overland lift 2.5. yeah it was pricey but ya know buy once cry once. I got just the fox 2.0 non reservoir and fully loaded down the weight was to much. So I contacted Overland Vechicle Dynamics AKA @CrazyCooter
I see you have a Rubicon (correct)? 2.5 Clayton will net you over 3" consider 1.5 if it meets your needs. Not sure if it will get you much more than stock height. @Clayton Off Road
Regardless I'm super happy with the Clayton lift HD diesel springs and the tune on Fox 2.5 elites with remote reservoir.
I know there are a handful of other lifts out there. Such as AEV, Rusty's, OME, JKS, Rock krawler , Terraflex, and Metal Cloak.
My other option for price point was the AEV but opted for Clayton in the end.
Also just a Sport S ecodiesel.so lift on a Rubicon may be different as far as overall height.

One local shop likes Icon but I’m not that impressed for what you get for the price. I like the AEV HD spring option.

I have stayed with the factory set up, other than switching to Bilstein shocks.

Yes, I think the AEV springs will give an extra few hundred pounds of payload.

They're pretty neat. I am considering picking those up. But you have to buy the complete set. Otherwise they won't work correctly.
