P2002 and Cracked DPF at 21,000 Miles

Posting this as a data point.

My 2022 Gladiator EcoDiesel had a DPF failure at about 21,000 miles. I pulled code P2002 and found soot at the tailpipe, which led me to take it in. Dealer inspection then found the DPF was cracked internally. They replaced the DPF along with the related gaskets and clamp hardware under warranty.

This rig gets used hard off-road and tows an off-road trailer that weighs about 2,300 pounds. Most of those 21,000 miles were off-road.
