And another reason to stay up at night thinking if wasting any chance at retirement on this rig is worth it.:CWL::swear::headbang:

Mine's got it too, discovered numerous spots this weekend on both sides - 2020 JTR. One dealer told me that Chrysler was allowing subbed out work to body shops back 6mo ago, but now wants the work done in-house at dealer body shops. So message left... standby

I wonder what they do if the dealership doesn't have their own body shop? Not all do. It's an expensive and specialized thing, especially these days.

Corrosion will probably continue in the future. With doors & hinges. My Wrangler did pretty well for the first two years with minor corrosion and then very quickly corroding after that.

I made my first payment yesterday, girl at the bank asked me how I like my new Jeep. I told her the jury is still out on that question. I just need to stop reading about all the issues with them I guess, and just drive it.

My 2020 has the issue on both sides of the hood and some of the hinges. First two deelerships said they are not taking any appointments so they can catch up on scheduled work. The third dealership started the process... the earliest they can get me in is January. we will see how bad it gets in that time!

You have the appointment, the issue has been reported, so even if it gets so bad they must replace parts - you've got yourself covered by reporting it.
As far as shop appointments - the dealer I bought from said that in recent months their shop is taking on more vehicles than they sell because certain other shops are messing up and customers are coming to them for resolution and it's put them behind.
After talking to one of their leads in the shop - I can understand. That guy knew a lot of detail - he was impressive (and frankly, few shop people have ever impressed me)
Even that dealership's financial guy knew more about Jeeps than most sales people and some shop people.
