Payload and rear springs observation

At what point do these trucks squat? I’m rather impressed as I picked up a load of wet dirt (clay), about half a yard, (hard to tell cuz of the tarp) and it maybe went from rake to level. This is with a Willys w/out max tow.

That load is being shared by the front axle so that might explain the reduced squat impact.

Mine rides level with 1500 lbs in the bed, but it’s because of the Rubicon LE shocks and springs. The LEs had the stiffest spring rate you could get. My Overland springs squatted easily and they were the stiffest Overland springs you could get. Because it was a fully loaded automatic with tow package. look at the difference in spring rate. The higher the number the stiffer.

Throw some airbags in it and you'll be even more impressed. I have airbags in both the JT and the Ram. The bags in the JT are Ram 1500 1,000lb HD bags. I've had them for over four years now. The Ram has 5,000lb bags.
