I guess I don't feel so bad, now. I thought the payload on my Overland was quite low at only 1032 pounds.

Shawn has me beat, but I wish I still had your payload numbers.

The factory apparently thinks my 3.6 is a diesel, I guess.
I can't figure out why an almost identical truck, with a lighter windshield due to having GG would have such a drastically lower payload number. Must be the aux switches!
I looked at that door sticker and wondered WTF??!! why? How? Are you kidding me?
The rear sits slightly higher from the factory, BEFORE any mods or spacers, and yet the sticker number is so much lower. There's no way to compare the springs as they have totally changed the numbering system on them. I wanted to see if they considered this truck to be heavier by seeing if they used higher numbered springs.
Oddly, the curb weight on my 2022 is 100 pounds less than my 2020 according to government numbers.

I think I maxed out the payload today. I picked up some tile stuff for a job about an hour away through the mountains. The diesel pulled it no problem doing 75. It sure squatted the rear though.

8 bags of thinset
5 sheets of 7/16 backer board
5 boxes of 12x24 tile
Grout etc.

Just spent a month moving a 10,000 sqare foot automotive shop with my rubi diesel. Loaded the bed clear full of tools jacs parts etc. and towed a 15 ft utility trailer also packed full of parts , equipment ,engines, transmissions etc. Im sure I exceeded both load and towing capacity by thousands of pounds. Truck did just fine , no issues, held it around 60 for the 20 odd minute commute. Wouldnt want to do it on a regular basis but it met my needs . Great Truck
