So I'm new, huge car guy but this is my first Jeep so tires are confusing the heck out of me.

Have an Overland and want some more aggressive tires on the same wheels. Nothing crazy big, would I do 33's? 33x12.5? I'm beyond confused of sizing. Any help would be much appreciated!

Fun tires on 18-in wheels are expensive. 33s are good with the right look (Rubi falkens) otherwise 35's give you more options with 17-in wheels.

Thanks! I'm ok with the price, looked like a set was in the 1300 range. So if I pull the trigger 33x12.5 18 in theory should work? Was thinking the BFG or nitto, want something that will be decent year round and in snow

Based on the pulse of the forum, and by my own experience you will be more satisfied with 35's. After putting 35s on the truck even my wife said they should have come standard

My Sport S on JL Rubi 33’s. Huge improvement visually and no negative impact on drivability that I’ve experienced.

If you want to stick with your 18” wheels I would consider 285/75R18 tires. They would be roughly 35” x 11” wide.

285/75/18s fit great. A little over 34” tall on the ground. If you’re not towing or want a winch, I’d put a smaller spacer in the front. If towing I’d add 3/4” spacer to the rear as well

Cooper XLT AT3 top (rides fantastic)
Duratrac bottom (better in mud)

Thank you, super helpful. Think I may go with that size, torn between the Cooper's and nittos

Just put 35’s on with no lift.
Will be adding a small spacer lift next weekend.
Added nerf bars.
Also cut out the air dam in front.
Duratrac tires on XD 822 wheels.
Are you adding the spacer because you're rubbing the sway bar? That's what's happening to me but I don't know what size spacer will get me by. I want the bare minimum.
