I bought a new Mohave X in January. This plastic gizmo was in the glovebox. Anyone know what’s it’s for?

Thanks for the response. Never have, probably never will fold down the windshield…

Jack, I bought my Mojave after having a ‘22 Overland. I do not need many of the features this critter has, the $20,000 off the top discount lured me to this model.
My ‘22 Overland was a soft top, after I traded it the sales mgr was whining on how much they allowed in trade, blah, blah, blah. I started following it on their used car lot, it disappeared a few weeks ago at a sale price of $2000 less than they allowed me on it, plus the original $20,000 discount. I may have won this battle.

Kinda hard to read the hieroglyphics that are used to tell what a part is for, or the controls inside, for that matter. When I travel and have to rent a vehicle, I specify a domestic one, so I don't have to decipher the hieroglyphics on the controls.

A fella on Ebay wants $49 for one of those things! Being Sport S owner I am still trying to figure out what might be mounted up there that has anything to do with cruise control.

The depiction of the hood curve and pictograph would have me wondering also. Since the pictograph is so poor how would a person even know where to look in the manual?

WOW, I got sucked into not knowing what this was either at first glance. I'm still waking up and the blackhole touched my mind in the wrong places.

Of course it was clear when someone mentioned windshield, but thinking of being the fella who just pulled it out of the glovebox, I started to wonder if it was an attachment to the glovebox. Ugh! Terrible instructions for not explicitly stating "Windshield..." -or- having an initial picture of maybe a zoomed out portion of the entire front of a jeep wrangler or gladiator and then a zoom in on the windshield. Jeep should hire someone with at least 1 day of Lego's building set diagraming experience vs. this person with the idea of: 'Let's just show you a random square / rectangle shape and an arrow and this thingy connecting to a thingy. ...and NOW GO!

🤣 When we bought the JT last March.....(2024 Mojave), our Salesman was a really good guy to work with but he had no clue how the Adaptive Cruise worked. 😮 My husband (who drives a BMW) gave him a lesson. 🤣

The reminds me...... (off topic), I bought the hubby a BMW hat (from Germany). You know the 'tags' that are inside your clothes? Inside this hat.... There was a tag for each language - 15 different tags all stitched together inside the hat. 😮 Too bad you can't put pictograms on clothes tags.....🤣
