Hey all, This is my first Jeep (24 JT Rubicon X 2" Mopar lift, 17" method wheels with BFG KO3 315 70 17)and loving it, but since I added bigger tires I have had issues with calibrator. I initially had the Super chips flash cal+. Apparently there is issues (ACC and cruise were disabled and the dealer said there was a ton a codes on. they cleared codes) that Holley is are aware of so they sent me the older version Flashcal which they say has been known to work well. Installed and did tire calibration a couple of times to dial it in with GPS speedo. Now when coming to a stop it down shifts from 4 to 2. Not very nice at all. It doesn't do it every time but the fact it has done it concerns me. I had a Diablo sport tuner on my 15 silverado with 35's and it was plug and play easy peasy.
So I have been looking for other calibrators. My question for you all is, Anyone with a 24 having issues with superchips? Anyone with a 24 using another calibrator and how is it working? Anyone have suggestions on any brands? My main use is for tire size but any other bells and whistles are always a plus.

I have used Diablo sport on my wk2. I have used a $10 China calibration tool off of Amaon for my Silverado. I have a Tazer for my JT. The easiest has been the $10 one from Amazon that I used for the Silverado. Measuring your circumference ( chalk lines on the ground) should give you the best accuracy. Tire sizes usually don't match the tire size on the tire sidewall. You will get some better info from others, I'm sure.

The only one I have tried is the J Scan and it worked good for my tire size adjustment. Not familiar with any of the others.

I used the ECRI brand mostly for speedo recalibration and can’t be simpler. Just drive and it measures your tires and recalibrates speedo. Little more to it but instructions spell it out. My speedo now matches the gps on my dashcam exactly. Oh and I took it all out when through just in case.
