Sure you can probably get a Rubi build to 60K+ but I don't see any justification for a base Rubi to MSRP anywhere near 60K.
No justification. Base Rubi at like 45K give or take?

35s or 37s?
I was set on 37's (also the biggest you can go on a Jeep Jamboree with), but I will probably go with 35's and a leveling kit. 86% mall crawler/DD, 14% weekends in the woods

For me, if I can just trick this internet scam artist into actually selling me the resto he has pictures of, at the lower than real price his private banker wants to contract for, well, then I can actually SAVE 25,000 bucks, and get a Gladiator, although Vintage, and not piss off the missus.

Otherwise my ass is going to impulse buy the hell out of a new Jeep Truck.

I'm taking the Nigerian Prince route. I just have to send him 10k and he will send me 4 million 2 weeks later... its seems legit, he is cousins with a Nigerian Astronaut and Air Force Major.

I just got an email from a local Jeep dealer that I have been working with. His GM just got back from a meeting with FCA. He advised that ordering starts in March. Production starts in April. Trucks to start rolling into dealerships in late May. And starting price for base Sport models to be at $40,000.00 again for a base model Sport model truck, not even a Sport S. He was not given any indication as to what other higher end trucks would start with. But this alone makes it about $7,000.00 more expensive than a normal 4 door Wrangler.

They said from the start that they would make it intentionally expensive and it looks like that may be the case. They may have just lost my business. Will have to sit back and see if this pricing turns out to be true or not.
I guess I'm going to wait. I am not going to pay that kind of mark up to advertise for them. Too bad

I love jeeps, but not enough to throw down cash like that. That’s creeping up to raptor territory in a hurry. The ranger I currently have was my winter driver while my previous 05 TJR sat in the garage. Previous jeep had 24k miles on it and I had to sell d/t an upcoming wedding. I like my fiancé more haha. I’d love to have one, but I see the trends and they are going to piss us all off with the MSRP on these.
All the Happiness to you and the soon to be Wifey . I watched one of MIKE's - mikescarinfo.com - this morning, the new Ranger Lariat - with some options the sticker said ~ $44K, not a bad msrp before negotiations, IF you "like" Fords ! ? As you know Lariat is NOT the Base Model . I've done many Price & Build's for a Sport-S JL with most of the options (no sun roof, no 2.0, no Connect 8.4) and the msrp is ~ $45K . With a 5% - 6% markdown then adding in the taxes/fees crap and I'm back up to the $45K-ish price again - but I can live with that with my WK2 trade in . I'm hopeful that this same build, as a JT, will only be an additional $3.5K to $4.5K - time will tell ! ? For the JT, if my hope comes true, I can also "live with" that . I look at it this way -- The JL will "need" (me really want !) an Ursa Minor replacement top for the ragtop (my previous JL price is with the 3 piece hardtop) . That adds nearly $9.5K (ouch) . The JT BED will only require ~ $2.5K FOR A CAP & BEDRUG or ~ $1.5K for a Fiberglass Tonneau & BEDRUG !
The difference is quite a chunk of change in favor of the JT . . . IF I were to opt for the Ursa Minor RTT ! Make sense ? This and the fact I really enjoyed the heck out of Camping out of the back of my 2003 Dodge 1500 .
To add fuel to the mix . . . here is me & my 1500 (2009) and here are just 2 (of many Tonneau options) I found online & ready to be made over at a Canvas Shop in Yakima, WA. -- enjoy.

So Bright White it is. Punkin is a late availability and you have no ride lol.
Did you leave yourself without transportation, other than public ? I did just that - for a full year, when I sold my Truck to a relative of a friend - then I got the WK2 because I was tired of waiting on a New Wrangler !

The lariat is nice but I would opt for the XLT in the ranger platform. 40k+ for a loaded ranger is insane to me. The little ranger I have now I paid 2500 for lol.

I actually expected the price to be higher.
