I have my VON# but haven't checked with the dealer to see if its been given a VIN yet. Is there a way to check status on your own or is the dealer the only one who has access to that info? Just curious about the process

Just called for the first time (5/6/19 11:18am) The lady would not take my VIN#, would just say all Launch Editions will start production at the end of this month.

Gonna have to call BS on the Concierge line again. Just last week Jeep said Granite LEs won't start until 7/8. Others are saying their LE (non-Granite) are D1 and will ship week of 5/15 (so will complete production early-mid May).

Why is it so hard for Jeep to actually provide accurate info?

More accurate response would be some LEs will begin production this month.

I don’t know if you are a recent order or a LE order. I ordered last week. Used the chat on Jeep.com to check on my VON. They gave me an update saying “Order passed edit but still not scheduled to be built, potentially due to constraint or production capacity. VIN has not been assigned. “

Funny.. they said all LE will start production mid month.... Not sure how FCA is handling it. Got so many conflicting info.

I wouldn't put much stock into someone in Florida answering questions about production in a Jeep plant in Ohio.

Before it starts, what seems to be the over/under on:
VIN date: I guess 04/18/2019 Actual 04/19/2019
Build date I guess 05/02/2019 D1 on 05/07/2019, Estimated ship 05/24/2019
Delivery date I guess 06/13/2019

I just checked with my dealer and my build status is still at D... Since my VIN is closer to the folks who moved to D1 I figured I would check but nothing has changed for me LOL

Dealer just emailed me...our Launch Edition moved from D status to D1 and has a ship date of 5/24!!!
