My favorite car prior to this would be my Chrysler Sebring in college.
Truth be told, it was hot garbage. The sun roof rusted and leaked. The buttons on the door fell into the door panel. The driver door handle came off so I had to open it from the passenger side. The alarm would go off at random. The power steering busted. The door cladding kept falling off. The front fascia got torn up from my brother snagging it on a curb. The starter failed. I burned through several alternators. All four wheels were bent. I finally died within a month of graduation.
But it had a GREAT stereo and I could still open the sunroof and windows.
I haven't been around long enough. I've only owned 2 other vehicles, but they were good and got me around during my best and worst times.
2005 Chevy Colorado w/ 5 cylinder engine
Probably my 2005 S2000
Bought in 2005 when I lost my previous truck to a hurricane in Key West.
Currently sitting right around 212k miles. Still have it but it's been garaged at my parents' place in FL when I moved out west in 2019. Have only seen it once since then
Great to see so many other cool rides! I have had my fair share of cars and trucks over the years, but this one is special. Have had it for 17 years now. Last major purchase before I got married! I guess it doesn't quite qualify since I still own it and plan on keeping it forever.
Still have this one, people everywhere love it. Simple and reliable w/the 300 cu.in. inline 6.
Had to let this one go to get the Gladiator, will be missed.
2008 VW GTI - perfect car to have while stationed in Germany. Enough power to go vroom on the autobahn, plus the grip and handling for the winding forest roads. But way too many electronic gremlins to hold on to for long.
2014 JK Willys - set up just like the advertisement pics: 2dr, half doors, manual transmission. Perfect Florida vehicle. Sold it when knee problems made having a manual transmission not nearly as much fun...
