did you end up building a harness or buying one ? if you build one do you mind sharing the info on the connections and pins
I actually ended up buying a set of handles and matching harness form the junk yard. 150 total

This was the first thing I did to my 21 mojave. Found a dealer kit on ebay came with everything for front doors. Super easy just swap door harnesses, & door handles. Than I used jscan to activate and bingo that's it. If I remember right took me about 2 hours total

I'm trying to do my half doors before summer, I did drivers full door last fall so I have a harness to harvest some wires. I need the part number for the connector to the door handle

I'm having an issue where the proximity lock works intermittently. Anyone know cause? I added it a year ago and no issue till recently.

That wouldn't cause intermittent issues - it would either work or not work.
Those are either yes/no, true/false or 1/0 choices.
The method used won't matter because they all make the same changes - assuming you made all of the correct choices.
In other words, if you tell it "present = yes" it's not going to be yes one day and no the other.

Intermittent sounds like a physical/electronic issue somewhere. Fob, connection (such as at the door harness connector), that sort of thing.

Some have suggested that tazer misses one of the settings. Read that somewhere in these forums but then it was a while ago.

I'm gonna take a peek at the door connector when I take the doors off. Thinking about it I don't feel it's a program issue, more like a connection issue like was mentioned. Ty guys!!

I installed this yesterday in my half doors. The instructions had the red and black wires reversed for pins 15 and 16 (did not use factory colors and I was okay with that) Otherwise It so much easier than doing the full harness like i did on my full drivers door. Granted, they are half doors so no window regulator to deal with.
I did not have to totally remove the door card. I undid the screws, pulled it out at the bottom of the card so I could reach my hand in and get to the harness. I removed the factory cloth tape and fished the add on harness through door jam loom. I used new cloth tape and some zip ties to clean it all up.
Once buttoned up you can not tell I was in there.
In the fall, I plan to do my passenger full door with the add on harness as well.

So.. checked out my door harness, nothing out of ordinary. Is it possible the magnet or actual handle just stopped? My buddy has a jl and is having same issue just his passenger door compared to my driver door. Any thoughts?
