Nice setup. Nice rig. I’m taking notes. Being from Virginia, but having lived in Colorado for four years, I can comfortably say…..both are excellent, for very different reasons. I have the factory flat black Mojave wheels, and in about another 10k miles, will be riding on at least 35’s. If the wife buys the Grand Cherokee, I go to 37’s ?. I like the 6 pack of switches on the Molle panel. Are they wireless?

Break it in like you plan to run it, has been my motto! My first 100 miles was up to the top of Argentine Pass. Hell yeah!

appreciate it. Naw the 6 pack is wired behind all the trim and into the engine bay. I'll definitely be going to 35s on my stock Mojave wheels when the 33s peaks wear out. Love the 37s for for clearance on the more abusive trails.

Forgot to add that I install the Harbor Frieght Road Edge 4 combo after a recommendation in another thread. Love them so far. Killer bang for buck. Love that they came with covers as well.

Love the use it attitude lol , better than letting it go to waste in a garage somewhere. i have always used mine, and never regretted it until resale time lol.

How you like the ironman winch? I've been torn between a few of them for what to put on mine, so curious. I see them here and there on rigs but don't hear much about them.

Nice setup btw love it.

I got it cus it was the only winch on market that i could cram into my old toyota bumper. It works great. I've used it countless times. I do want to change it as i want one that mounts the control box on top of the winch or something. It was also on sale when i got it, I paid like $360 brand new. I have the control box mounted inside the bumper. which makes it a tad annoying to hook up the controller. the wireless puck died after the first use. The only reason I'll keep this one is if I can figure out how to hardwire controls for it in cabin so i can avoid using the controller when possible. It did come with a breather hose i ran into the engine bay. and i have full submerged it many times with no issues. even salt water. I am due for a new cable. I started running a cover cus UV was doing more damage to the cable than actual use.

Jeep Gladiator Puddle Jumper - Do It all Overlander IMG_2129

Installed the RedARC brake controller. Yes I can reach it easily. I wanted it out sight, not easily manipulated, but within muscle memory reach. This works.

now the install. FUUUUUUCCCKKKIIIINNN THE WORST! The amount of broken clips, and false hope this damn dash held. I almost debated buying a mopar one and having the dealer install. I dropped shit down in center console, never to be seen again, but heard oh most definitely. This puppy better work as advertised, because I do not fancy buying a whole ass center console that doesn’t have holes in it by yours truly. Also the flipping sound bar lights do a really good job of turning off, WHEN ITS MOST INCONVENIENT! not to mention my neighbors may now be slightly concerned about the amount of horn bumping and audible cursing coming from my garage at 9pm. Anyway, job done but my evening was ruined and my patience lost is immeasurable. Thank you and good night.

Todat, I installed the one I took off the Willys before I traded it for the JTR. Honestly I didn't want to mess too much with the dash and really didn't want to disassemble the shifter console or drill a hole near the push start. I ended up installing the knob by the drivers knee panel. I can still reach the knob and see the numbers. And it's tucked away.
