I’m starting the process of upgrading my Sport S to a JTRD. I see a few posts about MPG but what kind of range does the diesel get on a tank? my gasser is getting about 305, not sure what’s left in the tank.

I’m getting 450 before I even worry about fuel. I’m pulling a motorcycle trailer from South Dakota to Arizona and back in the next week. I suspect my mileage and range will tank. (Pun intended.)

28mpg @ 18 gal is 504 till empty. 31 is 550 range.

Obviously big 37" will get lot worse over stock.

My worst is ~350 miles per tank.

Which happens a lot. I might be doing 85 and people are passing me. It would not be uncommon on several roads around here to look down and you’re doing 90.

350 is your worst? Wow, that’s close to my gassers best!

Surely these are numbers with a stock tire size? My mileage on my Sport S went from 30 mpg on stock tires to 19-20 after jumping up to 35’s. 70 mph anyway.

Stock JTRD on mud terrains I'm averaging 22-23 MPG with mostly around-the-metro driving in KC area. It's easy to cruise 60-70 on most of the freeways around here even during rush hour.

When I make the hike across the city to visit friends or whatever (40 mile commute) I'll typically drive 75-80 and get about 18 mpg on that trip just gauging the instant-read. The thing is still a brick so pushing it above 70 really shows.

I don't keep that tight of track on the range, but would guess that 375 between fill-ups is about average with my driving habits.

I went from 255/75 MTs to 315/70 ATs and my mileage has stayed about the same, roughly 25 mpg. I drive anywhere from 68 - 72 mph, most of my miles are highway.

Did you calibrate your speedometer? 19-20 honestly seems a bit low if you're doing mostly highway.

Speedometer is calibrated with a Tazer mini and confirmed with GPS.
My Gladiator has an RR Arcus steel bumper, winch, Fab Fours Rocker guards, hard tonneau, 35” Yokohama Muds, Black Rhino Arsenal 17” wheels.
Weight may be a factor and break in as well. Only has 1800 miles on it.
