Definitely will not be able to join you guys this time. My work schedule for weekends has changed.
I hope to get out to RC, perhaps in the fall after this job is over.

Sorry it will not work out for you.

Just an FYI for everyone, rates at RC have increased by ALOT in 2022

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All persons 16 and older, whether a driver or a passenger, must become members of the park. The membership costs $50 and is good through 12/31 of the year you join (those joining Oct-Dec will be good through 12/31 of the following year). Once you are a member, the daily entrance fee for the vehicle and its driver is $65. Passengers are $20 each (the $20 is waived the day a passenger pays for their membership). Children 15 and younger free. Included in your daily fees is primitive camping (reservation required).
So if you are not already a member, it will be $115 for the day if solo. Add passengers as noted above.
As I plan on Camping the night before, I am going to call and setup a reservation and will just say at least 7 vehicles will be joining me. It really doesn't matter but will cover anyone who wants to join me on Friday night.

Yeah I was SHOCKED it's going to cost me $255 to bring my wife and daughter. I'd have to mortgage my house if my daughter wanted to bring her own truck. But I figured I'd check it out once and try and meet some people who wheel away from the park itself in the nearby area.

Yea, it's a little ridiculous and really adds up for families.

Damn I totally missed this thread. Still bummed I missed the October ride.

Put me in as a good possibility. I'm gonna mention it to a buddy of mine too.

What's the plan for trails??

I'd do either, AOAA would only be $33, but I was there in Nov, so I wanted to check out Rausch cut I haven't been there. Also wanted to get the trail 11 badge. And would be paid up on the annual fee to go again this year sometime.

The point of this trip was specifically to go to RC because a bunch of people have not been there. So cost be damned, I believe we still want to go to RC

But if we put it in perspective, by the time we go, the cost will be cheaper than a gallon of gas and a bargain.

Also we probably have enough if a few wanted to split off for AOAA instead
