I have a 2021 Gladiator Sport with max tow. that I am ready to lift. I am currently running 35s on a leveling kit. Looking at either the Rock Crawler 3.0 or Evo 4.5

I went out to Choccolocco Off-road Park in Alabama and was amazed at where I could go with 35s on factory suspension (see pics)

local shop has an EVO 6” that someone ordered but decided against it. So they are willing to sell at cost. Don’t really want a 6” lift though.

will step up to 37 or 38” possibly next year.

she is a daily driver with some off-roading on the weekends but not rock crawling more than once or twice a year

On 35s or 38s I'd be looking at the Evo 2.5 or the Clayton 2.5 or 3.5. They give a lot of lift, and on a sport way more than their stated numbers. You usually only want to lift as high as you need to clear the tires and even on a Clayton 2.5 you can clear the 37s with 3 inches of bump stop

Anyone know of a good thread on here comparing different brand's lifts? I tried digging through the search, but its a bit too much. I had a Rough Country lift on my TJ and really liked it, but I'd be interested to see comparisons.

Yeah I wouldn't go that high. You can get up to 40s under a simple 2" MOPAR lift. RK, Clayton, EVO, MOPAR, Metalcloak all have great lifts for their respective designs. Can't really go wrong with any of them. And you can run any tire you like under that, for the most part.

You'll want to make sure you regear above 35s and make sure, if the lift kit doesn't come with it, that you add track bars. And, personally, I'd also add 8 adjustable control arms.

You're not going to find too many supporters of on RC products. Most of us are not fans.

Might be a good idea to start a thread with that topic. I bet it gets plenty of traffic. Keep in mind a lot of people just want to reaffirm their purchases, regardless if it was a good decision or not.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of RC detractors, but I had a 4.5" RC lift on my TJ for over 10 years and never had any issues. It worked great on all the Arizona and Colorado trails I went on when I lived out there. I'm not tied to it or any other brand though. If something has legitimate reasons for being superior, I'm all ears.
