Changes to tires matter - I lost a couple of MPG when I went from the stock tires to the slightly wider A/T tires. The dealer said "these will lose you some gas mileage". I said - I know - but I want something better in snow. Not surprised, I got 22+ on my stock Max Tow.... that dropped to 18 w bigger tires.... that dropped to 15 with a supercharger
They do ok when you don't mess with everything.
I thought only the Toyota people called their brick a toaster.Yeah got M/Ts on my toaster if I take it east only highway 21 mpg, day to day mixed driving average 17
Not in my phone app comparisons. When conditions change it seems that the displayed average changes way too quickly for it to be a full trip average. More like a "recent-ish" average.
Brick, toaster, barn on wheels all applicable when describing aerodynamics of both vehicles I guess lolI thought only the Toyota people called their brick a toaster.
Sort of funny, generally speaking -Jeep people drive bricks and Toyota people drive toasters.
