Hope I can post about poor customer service from a company. If not please delete. I ordered and received a Putco tailgate molly for my Gladiator. It does not work with my tonneau cover. They advertise "quaranteed fit". I tried to return but RealTruck.com won't accept it because I was honest and stated I installed it. Which is the only way to find out. I was also told I would receive a FedEx label in a couple of days to return the molly and accessory kit. Instead I received a denial of return. They don't care. Its not like its a packing problem either. The molley comes in a cardboard box with little packing and the bolts are in zip lock bags. I simply bolted in on and couldn't close the tailgate then I took it off. I also tried twice to leave a review on their site but both disappeared. Seems real shady and the last business they will ever get from me. I just started my build and need a lot more but will be shopping elsewhere.

Did you try talking to the @RealTruck rep that is on the Board?

They may be able to help where CS doesn't on the phone.
I spoke to a rep on the phone who stated they would send a FedEx label. I also sent a reply to the denial email, no response. My attempts to leave feedback disappeared.

How far up the chain of superiority have you spoken to at this company. I’d keep calling and making sure they know your name personally within days and keep loading bad reviews on their site to keep them busy. Copy and paste your reviews consistently and they will respond.

You honestly shouldn't have to shame company on a forum to get reasonable customer service.

Just a follow up on my only and only purchase from realtruck.com. They officially closed my case without any resolve. So if you want to purchase an item from realtruck.com, just remember to make sure not to open anything or install anything. Their site will advertise “guaranteed fit” but it may not. That does not matter to them. Buyer beware should be advertised and expected. They also deleted 2 reviews I left so I guess they can keep their ratings high.

It was my fault for trying a different company. I will stick to Quadratec and Extreme Terrain from now on. Lesson learned

So parts can't be returned once the package has been opened?
Yet you don't know if it's the correct part if you don't open the package.
