I purchased the z-locker bypass harness and still had that dreadful flashing light on. Then on my way home tonight 2 weeks after that harness. Now the rear locker is blinking. I’m going to take streets only as it’s my daily, but I did order the actuator I have found in some of these forum threads. If not I hate to go to the dealer to get riddled more bad news.

Here is the actuator I ordered.

I wanted to provide an update. The dealer was able to get the sensor part and replaced it and the issue is resolved. They did not need to replace the entire rear or use the bypass plug. Lockers are working again and I got the Jeep back yesterday.
How many hours of labor were on the RO??

Unfortunately it doesn't say. Just shows:

Found sensor #4 correct sensor. Locker operates normally.
Installed 68544629AA: Sensor: Axle
Installed 68378949AAL: Lubricant : Gear

Too bad. I'm really curious how many hours the paid the tech to do it. Obviously customer pay and warranty are going to pay differently but it would give us an idea.

would be slightly less then a regear labor. They would need to pull the carrier and ring gear off the carrier to get to the sensor.
