Rear locker light

Out of nowhere the light for my rear locker started blinking along with the warning on the dash. The locker is not locked and has not been used for many weeks. Tried pushing the locker buttons. nothing . Got home and put it in low range and engaged rear locker ok then tried to dis engage witch it did but light still flashes like its trying to disengage it. Turned jeep off and on a few times light comes back on in a few seconds. Did the battery disco and no change. Dealer says bring it in but won't get to it till 2026 sometime. Then the dealer will probably not cover it with warranty. Any suggestions?? Is it OK to drive, no sounds from it.

This is a known issue. Z-Atomitive/Tazer makes a plug and play adapter harness that fixes this. The sensor in the locker gets filled with debris and malfunctions. It can also be replaced but a little more work. Z-Atomotive came up with this fix when FCA had supply chain issues.

The Tazer is ordered from Northridge and will be here Monday . issue is done.

Same. It fixed mine. No issues since getting z auto fix.
