For those that have had rear window leaks, after repair do you still get water in the sliding glass lower tray?

Longer story. 2021 sport. Had rear window replaced twice while under warranty. Worked for a while but leaked again. Silicone tubing wouldn’t work for me because the top gap is huge. So, I used Sikaflex 221 caulk / adhesive along the top edge. Completely filled the gap. Top is not leaking now but still getting water in the plastic tray. I assume thru the sliding glass seal.

I have a rear window leak and no warranty. Sooo...where does it typically come from, what´s the repair involve, and what might the cost be?

Any help/advice is appreciated.

They mostly leak along the top edge. Search this forum for rear window leak. If you’re lucky the silicon tube will fix yours.

Forget about Jeep warranty! Search here and do the silicone rubber hose fix. Mine has lasted 3 years so far with no issues. Took about 15 min.

Where do you get that tubing? Amazon? Is the fix here on the forum or maybe Youtube?

Nevermind! Found it on both! Thanks! Tubing has been ordered!

i had read that 7mm vacuum tubing can be shoved into the crevice of the window and hard top. I had some in my generic supply, i did not buy anything. It was just 7mm vacuum tubing that i cut to length.

this is the first youtube link that popped up when i googled glass leak.

https://www.amazon.com/AUTOHAUX-Met...cone+air+hose+pipe+tubing+7mm+,aps,180&sr=8-1

amazon link to vacuum tubing.

Thanks for the vid. I’ve noticed a musty smell in the back seat area and low and behold, I’ve got water marks all along the back window. I guess I can take it in under warranty. Will they do anything about the smell?
