The remote start not working on the JL was the first indicator. Did the normal voltage checked, then did a load test would drop from 12.4v to 7.9v in a matter of seconds.Not like you really needed it.
(and back to batteries - it's likely to be worse in extreme temperatures)
Replaced the battery and good to go.
General rule of thumb, look at replacing the batteries every 36-48 months
