Same with me. Seems like I'll break it if I force it. Think I'll order a couple of spare lights to have on hand before I get serious.
Same here. Do you know the part number(s) for the lights?

That should be it.
Thanks, since you did that I'll order mine too.
I ordered two of them. Once they arrive I’ll removed my original lights and if they break I can use these as spares. This is all I need to tap my LED bed light strips into.

they have a tab on the very top, you need to slot a tiny screwdriver in & behind them. You'll see a slot on top of the clear light lens.

they will break any other way.

May be a too late for the OP.

There is a cut out on the light, use a small flat blade screwdriver to push the tab to release, then turn the screwdriver a little and gently to remove.

Before I had my bed lined installed; I removed the lights, all the hardware, and filled the bolt holes with grease. Otherwise the bed liner installers may just mask around items I wanted liner under.

I even removed the plastic side rails.

Also see for side rail removal.

This give deserves an award. You should make install or how to instructions for everything. I was just browsing and don't need this info now but wanted to call out such a nice post.

I saw that earlier in the thread. It looks like that should work, but it didn't work for me. It still feels like I'm forcing them and they will break if I try too hard. Agree though that it's a great post.
