Thanks for your replies. The you tube video was from a pretty reliable source, but not sure how it works.

My aux switches stopped working and the screen says they are disabled due to battery charging. Sounds like it may resolve after driving a while, but cannot get out today, so decide to charge.
After watching that video, I would not advise doing this. N1 connects directly to the Aux. The charge goes to the PCR and then though a 150 amp fuse an expensive one at that. From the fuse power finally reaches the main battery and then out to the starter. The owners manual tells you to connect jumper cables to the main positive and a frame ground. I would do it that way.

My thoughts on that video would be if you had a dead Aux you can charge the Aux battery from another battery, but I would not attempt to start the engine with it hooked up that way. You can leave it sit a while to build a charge, disconnect then try to start. But why would you take the cover off to begin with. Do what the good book says. Just connect to the main, let it charge several minutes then attempt to start.

Thanks for input and advice. Sure helped.

I bought a new AGM charger. Took it from 25%, to 50%, to 75% to green pulsing in about an hour. Now more stable green (supposedly 100%)Going to leave it as a trickle till i drive it later tonight. Will test voltage when i disconnect.

Leave your key in the house. That way you do not wake up the vehicle before putting a meter on it. You should also wait several minutes after removing the charger to test the battery voltage.

Just wanted to give you an update. The NOCO AGM 10W Charger brought up to charge and then kept on as a trickle for 24 hours.
Left home on 18th and returned last night. 2900 miles, Big Bend, NM and AZ trails. No issues with battery, running coms ( Ham, GMRS and Magellan GPS) and frig off of the Aux switches during day.
I had the OEM inverter charging Jackery (running freezer, and misc chargers) during day, and then running both frig and freezer at night, as well as 115v kuerig, frying pan, and 12v oven and lights as needed.
Only issue, is the Stop/Start error says not available and needs servicing. Will take that in next week.
Thanks for you help and input.

How low are you cycling the batteries?
Did you charge the aux battery when you replaced the main and leave the IBS off to reset it while charging the batteries?
Depending on your load while not running you could be really dropping the voltage down...... make sure all loads you have connected are grounded to the chassis or the top of the IBS and when charging - once batteries are new and fully charged, only charge through the IBS and not directly to the main battery negative post.

Can both the main and auxiliary batteries be charged together at the same time @ShadowsPapa without removing the battery cables using an AGM charger ?

Additionally with vehicle in run position on the switch can the Battery Voltage Meter be used as an accurate gauge of the condition if the battery.
ie..12.6volts.
