Replacement Amber LED fog bulbs

After searching old threads and Amazon for over an hour with no luck I am posting here.

I have the stock halogen fog assembly and looking for amber/yellow led replacement bulbs. Please post reccomendations.

Not looking for a whole assembly.

Replacing just the bulb is a bad idea. You wont have the same cut off or light output. Your best bet is to replace the entire housing. Or, use a yellow/amber film over the factory logs.

i have an aftermarket bulb in there now that burned out, it was 100x better than the halogen. My understanding is if you get the right bulb the do just fine.

unfortunately i can not find said bulb 2.5 years later

Lamin-X yellow in size 3.75 for the LED housings.

As an aside note, no way would I put cheap Chinese bulbs in my car, for any exterior lighting. No way they will work as good as a quality OEM manufacturer tested part. Just my opinion... Cheap LED's are for the kids... Auto Zone, Aisle 1...

You can run LEDs in the factory Halogen Fog light bodies without issue. I've been running the ones I shared for almost 3 yrs now.

I understand. Just giving options. Sometimes the LEDs although proper color of light still throw down too much light to be effective in fog or snow and reflect too much back to the driver. You know kinda like the not so smart who drive in fog and heavy snow with their high beams on. Some people you just cant reach.

Big fan of amber in general. Harder for people not to notice you coming. Did the film over halogen for a while. Sufficient as a fog light to see the pavement markers and lets people see you coming better. But a pain to replace the bulb every now and then. Moved to Baja Design SAE fogs. Yellow-green light, so added some film to make it more yellow. Very nice now. Good spread of light up front. Mine are aimed a bit low because they are hard to adjust once installed and when I attach the trailer the lights aim slightly higher due to hitch weight. I can adjust the headlights but not easily the fogs, so they stay a bit low. Still worth it.

Diode Dynamics has some LED swaps for the halogen fixtures. Don't know if they have the right size, though.

For those with LED white fogs, it can take more than one layer of yellow film to knock out the green color. Most LEDs have too much blue/green compared to halogen.

I have run these bulbs in my 2021 Sport S fog lights for about 4 years now. I use my Taser to switch to led. I have the fogs set to come on whenever the headlights come on which causes me to replace the bulbs on a yearly basis.
