Donovan, I am in the same boat as you were. I am considering an aluminum mid Rock Hard bumper for my Gladiator. I seen you with the mid width steel, would you do it again? Any difference in ride or handling? It is hard to believe that the steel is 100lbs heavier than the aluminum.

Have absolutely no problems and would definitely do it again. No noticeable change to gas mileage and having the front hitch receiver gives me lots of options when i head out fishing at the OBX. I am sure there is plenty of strength in the aluminum bumper but I don't mind the sense of having a nice piece of steel between me and whatever might come at me.

Rockhard all with Warn 12K It's the flat surface mount so no fit issues.

That seems awfully low for the weight of the Gladiator.
My 8K has hauled me over rocks I've been stuck on more than once, but I already had it from my 2dr JK, if buying new I'd be going 10 or 12k for the price and pull power difference. I will say that my stucks weren't that bad, I'd assuming suctioned into mud I'd potentially want a snatch block

I'm running the stubby aluminum on my Mojave, super light bumper.

Does that bumper only bolt into 3 of the 4 mounting holes on the front of the frame?

Interesting. I feel better knowing even after killing a stepped drill bit trying to get my misaligned frame holes to match up I gave up and one side only has 3 bolts.

Not sure how I would feel if I planned mounting a winch on it, but since I just have a couple lights and stick to fire roads/camping I'll be fine.

I pulled with mine a couple days ago, no issues.
