We've finally finished designing and testing our 3" X Factor systems and are getting everything set for production. Here's a few images to wet your whistle. http://rockkrawler.com/suspension/2...x-factor-series-mid-arm-systems/new-category/

Just got my Gladiator from the workshop, this kit is amazing but i have a tiny problem. When it stands out on a straight road its a bit lower on the right side. Didn't know if the install was right or i would need to re-adjust the upper/lower arms. Can anyone help?

That looks legit. We are (we think) in the final stages of the 5" parts. The biggest problem has been getting redesigned test coils from our spring shop as Hypercoil has been furloughed for a while but they just started back up on the 6th so we're moving forward with the 5" parts again.
As I've now received a delivery date of anytime in the next 3 weeks for my JTR, I am also interested in the 5" version, and might like to know what the price range might be for budget planning... any numbers available?

And like previously posted, the 3 to 5" upgrade question also sits in my mind - if no easy upgrade is compatible and then requires a complete purchase of a new lift, then this is indeed my budget concern... do I pull the trigger on the 3" or wait for the 5"?

...lol, because I want it now!!! :)

First, measure and ensure that both axles are centered and square under the vehicle. Ensure that the thick rear spring pad is on the passenger side and the thin one is on the driver side, both should have the thickest part towards the rear. After that, ensure that sway bar end links match left to right, fronts and rears will be different lengths but left/right should match.

That'll cover about 98% of lean issues. We can dig deeper if need be but more than likely your lean is in those details.

We can't ballpark a price until we finalize the pieces that the kit will include. I know people want it, and we want to get it to them, but we won't send it out the door until we are satisfied with it.

Finally got mine installed as well. Looks and rides great.

My only gripe is the squeekyness of the rear when braking. Greased appropriately and all, so super surprised about the noise.

I also get a little bit of a "thud" when moving the steering wheel back and forth at a full stop, im assuming the track bar since the O-rings were left out of my packaging.

Any suggestions?

With the rear issue, first, isolate the noise. Disconnect the sway bar and see if the noise changes or goes away. Most of the rear squeaks I find are the bushings on the axle mount of the rear sway bar. If the noise goes away with the bar disconnected, grease the factory bushings where the sway bar bolts to the axle and put it back together.

With a clunk in the front end, you need those O rings. Give us a shout and we'll get you covered there.

Perfect will do. And I'll give the shop a call today for the O-rings. I am guessing these are not some I can grab at a shop, but they are special ones?

ACE Hardware probably has them if you have one locally, they usually have a pretty good selection of O rings. The reference number would be -318 on them. .975" ID, 1.395" OD

Don't buy them though, give us a shout and I'll send them out. Just ask for Adam C.

Are you working with Jeremy on this? This is not one that I'm familiar with.
Did you guys ever figure out what the cause of this was? I haven’t seen an update and it’s stopping me from pulling the trigger on one of these kits

I haven't, honestly, the lift bay is tied up with the diesel JLU R&D and with NY regulations on employment right now, we are a small crew, operating somewhere around 20% of regular staffing. I'm staying late tonight to try and get the diesel finished enough to move out of the way so that I can get the JT in for photos.

Jeremy here has been working with the team at Fox on shock tuning for a number of applications. He's also working with the team at Bilstein and they will have good options soon as well. I don't have an ETA on when either company will be ready to run.
Has there been any update on the Fox 2.5 shocks for the rear? These are the shocks I’d like to run with this setup, but from what I see they still aren’t available

We did, sorry. Based on disassembly, and order date, these joints were made back when we transitioned from the old raceways to the new raceways. The new raceways utilize a .030" shim on each side of the joint to create a slip surface between the retainer and the raceway but the raceway was slimmed down .030" to account for the thickness of the shim. These particular joints were built during that transition with new raceways but no shim which created .060" more room in the housing than intended. We believe these are isolated incidents but will address more in the future if need be.

As far as I know, Fox hasn't moved forward with them yet. We have had 2 rounds of tuning with Bilstein so far but have not had Fox test shocks in house here yet.

Bummer to hear! Are your RK brand shocks made in house? If not, who produces them?

The Stage 1's, the 2.625's and the 3.25's of all variants, shock (emulsion/RR), Coilover, Bypass, etc are made in house. Our Twin Tube shocks are not made in house but made to our spec by a 3rd party.

Ironically, I came into the company almost 5 years ago as a shock assembler.

I am looking at the 3” kits. I’m looking at gradually upgrading to the pro-x as I get the time. I have a few questions:
1) is the difference between the max travel and X factor the front UCA’s and rear LCA’s being included in the X Factor or are there other differences? What is the functional difference in having the additional control arms?
2) If I were to run factory shocks what effect would that have? How would shock mount extensions help? What size would be optimal?
3) since the goal is to get to the Triangulated 4 link and not use the rear track bar is there a more economical way not purchase the rear track bar such as running the factory rear track bar. I see many kits that don’t include an adjustable rear track bar while most will include an adjustable front track bar if going over about 2” of lift. It is my understanding that this will recenter the axle under the vehicle. Is it less important to recenter the rear than the front?
4) Also I like the factory wheels. To clear 12.5” wide 37” tires I’m guessing I would need a 1.5” spacers to keep from having Clearance issues... is that correct. Also the wheel is 7.5” wide I believe. The recommended width is 8.5”. What issues might one have running a narrower rim than recommended?
