@PhantomChameleon - No problem!

To answer your questions...

1) Did you install yourself? If so was it pretty easy and were any special tools needed? I'm not very mechanically inclined but am pretty decent at figuring simple stuff out.

I had a local dealership install it. I didn't have the tools, or the time to do it. What took them 3 hours or so to do (can't remember exactly how long it took), would have probably taken me all day.

2) If you had a shop install, about how much did that cost? I would probably need to buy a floor jack, jack stands, and a torque wrench at least, so wanting to see if it makes more sense to try it myself or have a shop do it. Getting the experience myself does add some value as well but don't want to get in over my head.

It was $392 at the dealership. I probably could have gotten it done cheaper at a smaller shop, but I wanted it done right and knew they could get it done. This was my first Jeep in about 15 years, so I was definitely a little nervous about changing up the stock configuration. Knowing it was done at a shop where they mainly do Jeeps, helped set me at ease.

You will though of course save money if you're able to do it yourself.

3) Did you do any other mods along with the lift? I think the 1.5in is short enough that nothing else is really needed other than the alignment, but wanted to double check and see your experience.

Other than the alignment, nothing else was needed. I did get bigger tires though. :)

Hope that helps!

Awesome info, thank you both! Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for right now.

Just a couple other questions whenever you have time to respond:

Thanks again for taking the time to share!
It takes me about 40 minutes to put the front in by myself and 35-40 minutes in the rear, using a 2 post lift. If you're paying a shop, plan on roughly 2 hours of labor, labor rate varies dramatically so I can't give you a dollar amount to plan on.

To me, buying tools is always a good investment if you plan to work on the jeep in the future.

The rear spacer is absolutely 1.5". This picture was just taken, on my messy desk, in the last 5 minutes. I apologize that someone misspoke.

My wife and I did it fairly easily. There's a youtube video available, don't remember if it's specific to the rock krawler or not, but guides you well. I put extended bump stops on though I don't know that they're necessary. Extreme terrain told me that I didn't need shock extensions. Otherwise fairly straightforward. I did it in the garage with Jack stands and a floor jack.

Also, we did the shocks while we were in there. Believe it took us 3-4 hours. You should be able to handle it.

1.5" all around, no changes to factory rake.

On a Sport, this will have the same geometry as a Rubicon.

I'll see what we have kicking around for pictures.
Is 1.5 inch lift enough to consider adjustable track bars, , I’m going this route for now on my Mojave so I can keep the plush stock ride, maybe a 3 inch later but this for now , thanks

Just got mine in yesterday, has anyone found official installation instructions? I'm sure I can figure it out, but it wouldn't hurt to check them out if they exist.

Done ✅ took about 3 and a half hours... The rear was a pain but I am happy with the results, the picture doesn't do it justice. Hopefully this will hold me off for a bit while I save my pennies to buy a real lift kit ???

Hey Gator, Any tips for the rear install? I’m going to order these 1.5’s tonight and I’m having flashbacks about prying a .75 puck under my max tow springs last Fall.
I ended up using painters tape to hold the spacer in place and even then it still wanted to move around on me. There might be a better way to do it but if there is I didn’t find one. I forgot that I even had these on my rig  Shortly after I did the spacers I found a hell of a deal on a Mopar 2” and I have had that on since.
