On the build and price tool I noticed several changes today. One of the oddest is a rubicon with the option of 255/70r17 tires. Unless it’s a cheaper option for those getting aftermarket tires immediately, who would do that? I think it would look ridiculous.

I agree, I wouldn't choose that option. Seems pointless to me.

So they also added the infamous "Rear Bumper Step Extension" listed at some of the auto shows, with no description or photo. Why that's listed under "powertrain" I'll never know.

And front license plate bracket is listed as an option again.

When I first went back to the jeep web site I was excited that I saw prices...until I realized I was looking at the JL page...

I also think I should add, (since I didn't see it mentioned anywhere) the storage option on the gladiator is gone, part of me is happy because maybe it's standard now, but part of me is scared as to never seeing that option again.

If you are referring to the lockable under seat storage it is still there part of the cargo management group. Not sure if that is where it has always been. I did notice that option is not available on the regular sport.

I think that's an erroneous entry. They have never offered a 255/70-17 and I don't think that size even exists.

A 255/70r17 is a 31x10 inch tire, but it doesn't exist. I think they meant a 245/75r17 (31x9.5) which is the same size as the jt sport tires.

They sure do double/triple dip on that 240A alternator. It's a feature on the trailer towing package, aux switch package, and now I see it on the cargo management / trail rail group. I expect three alternators under my hood now......

Go aftermarket for a better box.
