Anyone here running the 3.5" lift with coil springs from Rough Country? I put a RC lift on my JKU and had absolutely zero issues with it, but had multiple people tell me to stay away from RC. I welcome all comments for and against, but would really like someone to chime in that has the 3.5" kit on their JT. Thanks!

I'm curious as well. Ran RC spacer lift for about a year on my JKU before switching to a trailmaster spring lift. Had no issues out of the RC lift. I'm also a fan of their adjustable track bars. I've been looking at that 3.5 lift kit as well. The only thing I wouldn't run is their shocks, I didn't care for them at all.

I like RC stuff and their customer service is top notch. I really liked their shocks on my Ram 2500. When I had to change them out after 120,000 miles the more experience brand name shocks where way too soft for the mountain roads I drive. Like others have said I'm not sure why they get a bad reputation.
I also have over 60k on their lift on my JK. I did have to replace the shock bushings a couple months ago but that was easy.

I just installed a RC 3.5" kit, springs & N3 shocks. Rides great! No vibration! No noises! I still gotta install the RC front lower control arm drop brackets though. It sits level now, so I'm gonna start w/a 3/4" spacer in back for minimal rake. If that doesn't do it for towing, probably do an air bag kit.

Components themselves are just fine. RC gets a bad rap because people compare it to much more "Complete" Kits.

Is your $500 RC lift going to ride and flex like a $3000 MetalCloak or RockCrawler lift? Nope. The question is are those two lifts going to ride/flex 6x better than the RC kit? Thats a matter of opinion. I'm building around a RC lift, but I'll be adding the parts to it that I want.

Super happy with mine. 3.5” coil lift on 37” bfg’s and put on the Rancho adjustable shocks (XL 9000) which I’ve had on other vehicles and they’ve always been great. I went ahead and purchased the Rancho control arm drop brackets at the same time I bought the lift. However, I drove it for about 2k miles before installing the brackets just to see how different the ride is. The ride was not bad w just the lift but I could really feel big bumps in the road; especially on the highway where the road transitions on overpasses. I installed the drop brackets and it made a huge difference. It moved the front wheels forward about 1 1/2” and made a shockingly big difference.

I pulled the trigger on the 3 1/2" lift, added the dual steering stabilizer, and 37 BFG KO2's. Super happy thus far. I took a 3 hour interstate drive yesterday, no issues.

Just curious why a dual steering stabilizer. If it's setup right you shouldn't even need a Stabilizer.

Curious what your ride height is as well. I'm in between if I want to go 3.5 or 4.5 inch lift on mine. I really don't think 3.5 will give me much more clearance over what I'm running now with 37's. Could you measure ground to the bottom of your rock rails in the center of the truck and tell me what you got. Heres mine on Rubicon take off front springs with 2.5 readylift SSt lift kit installed. Looks pretty similar to what y'all have with the RC 3.5 lift. I was considering buying that kit but after seeing your pictures I may opt for a 4.5 inch option.

I had a 4.5" RC lift on my TJ for over 10 years with no complaints. It did some pretty tough trails in Arizona and Colorado.
