EVOa Adventure Topper.

Positive Comments:
1) The new packaging is pretty solid and I did not have any damaged parts.
2) This was not a bad assembly by any means with two guys, and it seems like a very solid unit.
3) The molle panels look good, feel sturdy, and I'm glad I chose this configuration.
4) It seems like the shipping times have really improved, and my order only took about a month.
5) (Opinion) looks slick as hell on the gladiator.

Not as Positive Comments:
1) I had a couple of spots where the roof panel was not painted, but as it is SS I'm not too worried about it.
2) The gasket for the front of the bed is the cheap and easy to tear foam and seems too thin for the gap you are making up.
3) Even though this is the EVOa and theoretically was only released a short while ago, I still got the thin rubber pads.
4) The mechanism for the sliding glass between the cab and topper takes up a good chunk of your rear view visibility.

Anyone know if the fixed non slider front window of the EVO-C would fit the other models. I would rather have the visibility out the rear instead of the slider, perhaps a replacement window could be ordered to swap out?
I think I’m going to stop by a glass place and ask if possible to cut one to fit. I love the cap and everything but the limited visibility out rear caused by a combination of the RSI slider blocking view and rear tinted window on gladiator top makes for poor vision.....Jack

Hello. Got an interesting question for RSI - t-brackets (like the trail rails) on the inside of the canopy? I know it is possible to put a shelf for a table on the canopy, but have not seen anything about t-brackets being used.

You can make anything work with a little ingenuity. There are nutserts in the roof of the cap, so I see no reason why you couldn't buy some track, measure and drill the holes to match, and hang them from the roof. Those nutserts are made for the sliding table accessory I believe, so you probably couldn't load much on them, but some molle panels and some recovery gear would likely be in the realm of possibility.

That aside, you can drill and place anything you like just about anywhere in the cap--so long as you weather-proof anything that punches through to the outside. I've had mine for some time now, and every time I look in the back I'm coming up with new potential ideas.

My RSI rack finally arrived. Box was broken all to hell and I’m missing bolts. (The box was open on my porch just like that second picture) Not a huge deal as everything seems relatively undamaged. Just slightly annoying.

Damn. That box is looking really rough. Glad everything showed up (aside from the bolts...I'm sure RSI can get you new ones) in otherwise good shape.

Thanks to Jack, I actually have the M8 weld nuts. It’s almost like it was meant to be. Because I’m missing 4 of those and they aren’t like a hardware store easy find.

No I have enough of those now thanks to you. The only thing I’ll have to hit the hardware store for are M8 bolts and lock washers. Eight of them disappeared somewhere between South Africa and Oklahoma.

UPS and Fedex are not the kindest to packages these days. The box definitely was damaged somewhere between the warehouse here stateside and your residence. The fastest way to get replacement hardware or missing items sent to you is by submitting a warranty claim through RSI's website. Let us know if you need any help. We're always happy to assist.
