Offroad Alliance just told me its a 60 day wait, "as stated on my invoice". I don't mind waiting, but there was no mention when I ordered it and now they act like its MY fault for ordering an item with a long lead time. Not a good customer service experience.

I didn’t buy from Offroad Allisnce but I’m into week 4 with a 4 week outlook remaining!

I thought the wait time was supposed to be reduced now that the RSI USA facility opened. Bummer to hear this is still happening.

It was understanding that Jeep Smartcaps and accessories are still coming from SA

Why is my EVo smartcap Driver side Bin taking so long to be delivered?
I understand a month backlog ?

The reasons for the delay in getting your bin delivered are twofold. First of all, we are still manufacturing all our accessories in South Africa, and that adds 6-10 weeks of time on the water. Secondly, the demand for our accessories has outpaced our ability to produce them, resulting in an abundance of backorders. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to fulfill all open orders as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We appreciate you placing the order, and hope you can hang in there a bit longer.

Thanks … I’m not complaining .. just commenting. I’ve had my EVO Smartcap for about 6 months and think it is great! Adding a bin is going to really going to help with gear storage.

The build is looking awesome. With regards to your questions, it is not in our immediate development plans to offer the Kitchen-Bin without the cooking equipment. You could possibly fashion something by using our Full-Bin?
As for a driver's side option, we don't offer that in North America, due to restrictions regarding the placement of the gas tank in NA produced trucks.

Interested in that, do you have a source for the pull out hinge piece that the stove sits on? I see the RLD Design camper uses it as well. Looks like a rollover hinge.

RSI told me the opening from inside latches would work on my first run RSI cap, important for me as I have slept inside a few times now, so we’ll see when they come out I guess….Jack
