Thanks.I will keep this in mind. Not quite sure what I'm going to do just yet since the spare doesn't have a sensor it kinda makes a 5 tire rotation pointless....
Unless anyone knows if a 5th sensor can be put in and connected to the computer. That sounds like a pain though
Just FYI, my local independent tire guy only charges $10 to install a sensor in a mounted tire that doesn't have one.
I'm assuming on the JT only the 4 tires on the ground are read by the TPMS system. A fifth sensor on the spare would not be noticed by the computer until that tire is rotated in.
I had issues on a 2020 Ranger when I installed a 5th sensor in the spare for 5 tire rotations. For some reason it confused the TPMS system and I started getting TPMS errors. Only stopped after I removed the sensor from the spare. Hopefully the Jeep is not the same way as I would like to do 5 tire rotations.
