I think I may have gotten scammed on a set of Rubicon take-off springs. I have a 2020 Overland and wanted to swap the suspension for the Rubicon Fox Shocks and taller springs so I can reduce that floaty feel of the OEM setup and also to get a set of 35s on it comfortably. I keep reading that the suspension swap should gain my JT nearly an inch and more in some cases. So I found a guy selling a Rubicon JT suspension on Marketplace for $200 that had minimal wear and I made the deal. When I pulled off my OEM front springs last night, they were a good 1.5" taller than the Rubicons that I purchased. The Rubicons were definitely stiffer springs though. I didn't gain any lift at all and MAY have actually LOST 1/4 inch once everything settles. The springs I removed were 330 and 331 AB and what I put on were 6360 and 6361AA. I can't seem to find those spring numbers on anything I've searched, so did I get scammed or are my Overland springs that much taller?

Coil diameter should be thicker on the Rubicon Springs also. If the same as your Overland, then yeah, you got hosed.

Lovely. Well, at least the Fox Rubicon shocks made a noticeable improvement on the ride over the stock shocks. So it wasn't a total loss.

My rubicon takeoffs are also noticeably shorter than my stock overland springs. But they netted me about 3/4” of so of lift all around. The coils are about 1/16-3/32” thicker than the Overland take offs.

Rubicon on the left (340ac), Overland(330ab)on the right.

I searched the forum and found this thread before I made the swap. None of those numbers are corresponding, so I thought it just wasn't the full list of PNs. Now I'm thinking I may have springs that aren't just non-Rubicon springs, but I'm not 100% sure they're JT springs.

Here are pictures of my rubicon take off springs (2021) with labels. OE Specifics were hard top, plastic front bumper, steel rear bumper, factory 7k towing package.

I'm wondering if you got Willys springs. They run a fox shock and a sport spring.....I think. I could be totally wrong.

Could have been. The guy I bought them from showed me some pictures of his lifted Rubicon that he'd recently sold. It was a nice truck and he seemed like a good dude, but that doesn't change the fact that my JT still isn't standing as tall as I expected it to with these springs. It's still at 36.5 from the ground to the bottom of the front fender wells sitting on the stock 33s. 38" in the back, but I haven't done the rear swap yet.

Sorry about that. Wish you were closer. You could compare with my takeoffs.

My Overland coil springs were about an inch shorter on the front than the Rubicon springs, but it was the opposite on the rear. Rear coil comparison. You can’t tell the difference on the front comparison pic I took, but it’s the opposite. I wish I took ride height measurements before, because it only sits .5” higher in the rear now but the front is noticeably higher. It looks like it almost sits level now where it used to have a rake before.

After all was said and done, I gained 1/2 inch in the rear and lost 1/2 inch up front. I’m pretty sure I got hosed on the deal. I found some Mojave front springs on Marketplace that I’m waiting on. Hopefully that straightens the stance out and gets me to where I want to be. 35” BFG KO2s coming this fall, so I need be sure I have the space in the wells.

Your 340AC spring is the same Rubicon LE front left spring I installed. Not sure how you lost height.

Hopefully, you put them on the correct corners, not sure how you could mix up front/rear, but left right would be easy to do.
