How did you mount your KCs to the bumper?
Looks like he put them in the overider bar holes. You could easily drill a couple of holes to mount lights in a different location. The shell isn’t all that thick.
I just installed my Arcus this weekend. Seems pretty solid.

Ah right, wasn't looking close, no overrider... yeah I have your exact setup, going to drill as I would rather avoid them up high on the overrider with KC tube clamps. I think ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not sure how big the lights are. But could you mount them upside down? Like between the override and the bumper. I agree, mounting them above the bar looks kinda odd IMO.

There are prime flat spots in the corners that might give you room to drill and mount lights

I was able to use a reaper off-road one with mine. Bolted up easily.

I have just ordered an Arcus bumper for my 22 Sport S and am thinking about getting the Reaper skid plate like you have - Did you put the skid plate on after the bumper or did you do it all at the same time? Just trying to figure out the sequence to make it as less complicated as possible for myself. I really like they way it looks - better than the RR skid plate to me.

I recently installed mine. I purchased it from Summit Racing, along with a Warn VR Evo 10S winch. Realtruck is running a $300 rebate for the month of April 2024, so I couldn’t pass this bumper up!

After reading this entire thread, I’m going to upgrade the hardware with ARP and also ditch the massive hooks for a set of shackle mounts. I’m going to look at the Teraflex mounts, or having a local fabricator I know make me a set. I’m in North Texas, so I don’t have many rust concerns as salted roads aren’t a thing here except for maybe 3 days every 2 years or so. Everything shuts down here when we get snow and ice, so I don’t drive unless I have to. Not many here know how to drive in winter weather. They are either overly confident or terrified behind the wheel.

Attached is a picture directly after installation. I went the following day and upgraded to a better Warn hook with an AEV winch hook isolator and added some red shackles with red isolators. I then installed the round style overrider bar as well. I will either update this comment if I can or post an updated photo soon.

I love the look of this bumper having quite an OEM+ style. My Rubicon Halogen fogs mounted up easily. My factory skid mounted up perfectly, although close on one side. I’m confident I can make some slight adjustments when I upgrade the bumper hardware though. I will be installing Diode Dynamics SS3’s in the near future. I have ran them on two previous vehicles and they just do it for me. Lol

From what I gathered from this entire thread, if you live in the rust belt, consider having this bumper stripped and re-coated prior to install. If you’re in a warmer climate, just send it and monitor. I hope this helps anyone that may be doing research on the Arcus!

Get the shackle mounts. Much cleaner look and dont get in the way. Shackle mounts offer more function as well.

Did you have to alter the arches shell to get these to work? These shackles the Teraflex or RR?

Wish there was a plate to cover the winch opening. Hate how it sits wide open.

Nope. So RR shackle mounts for the JK fit the JL JT frame horns. I have since Raptor lined my bumper shell. I got the dreaded rust and bubbling paint after two salty canadian winters. Still love the bumper!!
