Anyone know where the best price is right now? Starting to order parts for my JTRD coming.
I got mine off Amazon last year. First time ever getting Jeep part from them but it worked fine. Don't remember the price but I'm sure it was competitive and also a quick ship.

I picked up mine from Morris for $467 last week, plus the $100 off rebate from RR means my total out of pocket will be $367. I felt like for that price it was worth a shot. Adding a relatively inexpensive winch will keep my entire expenditure for the bumper/winch under $1k easily (which is about what the Mopar bumper costs once you add a winch plate...and then you still have to buy a winch).

Love my Arcus. I liked the light weight of it and the fact that the winch sits down inside completely covered. Synthetic lines are susceptible to UV damage especially here in Florida so this eliminates the need for any cheesy winch cover as well. Cant beat the price. Also the huge hooks are great when your on the trail and need to do some quick kinetic rope recoveries...saves so much time and they are rock solid.

Just installed the Arcus and now trying to decide what winch to go with. How did the Badlands winch fit with the Arcus? Did you have to do anything to make room for it (space out the bumper/winch plate, etc)??

I have had it for almost 8 months I think. No rust so far and I think it looks great.

How do you like the fitment of the Smittybuilt with the Arcus? Looks like an X20? I'm bouncing between the Smittybuilt X20 and the Badlands Apex. I know I'd be loosing 2500 lbs of pulling force but the Smittybuilt looks like it's a better fit.

It fit fine and works well. I had a smitty on my last jeep. They work fine for me for way less money.

Smittybuilt fits great. I have the 12k in mine and there is room to spare. So much that I actually put the control box next to the winch

Yeah, I was planning on a lot longer wait to buy a winch until I found the X Bull so cheap. And I’m getting pretty good at taking the bumper on and off, this will be the third time...LOL...it’ll be a piece of cake.
What is the general consensus on the xbull ?

No mods needed to fit the badlands apex. Its a tight fit but was no issue to install.

Arcus with badlands here! Holding up great! if you are going to offroad then you should make you get an aftermarket front skid too!

What skid did you choose?
I originally ordered the arcus specific skid plate BUT the bumper showed up and the skid plate was still on eternal backorder....go figure! so i cancelled the skid plate and ordered the Quadratec aluminum modular front sway skid plate

First winch install question: Arcus bumper arrived last week, winch arrived today, but I'm waiting on my synthetic cable. Should I install the bumper and winch now, then unspool the steel cable and install the synthetic later when it arrives...or will I not have enough room once it's all installed? While I'd love to get things moving now, I don't want to complicate it unnecessarily by not waiting. I've never swapped cables before so I wasn't sure if I can even pull the steel cable easily without the winch being mounted. I had also thought about removing the steel cable, installing everything (bare winch), then trying to attach the synthetic cable (while mounted) once it arrives this weekend.

Any thoughts?
