Rust speckles all over side of white truck

The longer I have my Rokblokz mud flaps the more I like them. Originally I thought I would only run them in winter, but now I doubt I will be pulling them off except if I go wheeling on the big rocks.

did you go with the XL ones, or the standard size?

i dunno.....i'm in wisconsin, its been wet every other day, nothing so far. Either conditions were perfect, or i went through something that splashed up rusty water.

I suppose there's a chance you drove over a rust pile that someone left on the road from their old rusty beater.

Either way, I'd keep on top of them or they could stain

Went to wash my white JT last week and seen the same things. Not as many as in your video but there nonetheless. Kinda freaked out at first also but the truck was already wet and as soon as I rubbed my finger over one it disappeared so I just finished washing the truck. Figured whatever it was, it was on the surface, so just keep it clean. Had a white RT charger years ago and never seen it on that but it had the ground effects so the sides didn’t get as dirty as this truck does. Wasn’t sure if it had something to do with the ceramic coating deal They supposedly did or what.

I would not overthink it. Winter grime and snow slush picks up anything and everything off the road and your vehicle and attaches it like snot to dry out and leave that kind of crud behind. White just shows everything more.

I would love to avoid using Iron-X. The stuff STINKS. I know my truck will smell for weeks now, lol.

any brand spray detailer, and sorry don't know where the pads could be bought.
turtle wax left white marks on my black fenders years ago, and the turtle wax headquarters tried fixing it.
The guy was great and gave me a bunch of free stuff, including like 20 of these pads he said he used a lot.
They are like 3" x 3" square, white, pretty dense foam.

Always a good idea to clay a new car, to get the manufacture and shipping contaminants from the paint.

my speckles were 5500 miles after I took delivery.

Only other thing I can think is someone was doing metal work in close proximity to your jeep
